Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship Matching Funding
The Isaac Newton Trust is the main University body willing to offer matching funding to post-doctoral applicants to the Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship Scheme. All applicants must secure matched funding from within their institution before applying to the Leverhulme Trust.
The Trust runs a special competition, separate from the normal research grant application process, for which this year's deadline will be 25 January 2013. Further details of this competition and how to apply are available here. The cover sheet mentioned in the detailed instructions may be downloaded here. Note that the email address to which electronic copies of the applications should be sent is firstname.lastname@example.org. Hard copies should be submitted to the Isaac Newton Trust care of Trinity College.
Please note that in 2013 all applicants, arts and sciences, must apply for this special competition. In the past, the Trust has instead required applicants from science departments to go through its normal termly research grant application process. This route is no longer available and, in particular, the Trust will not accept any applications after 25 January.
The Trust does not offer matching funding for Leverhulme Fellowships retrospectively. The Trust also makes a financial contribution to other Early Career Fellowships offered within the University by CRASSH.
