How to Apply

 The College’s application should consist of:

  • the c.v. of the CTO for whom the research leave is sought;
  • research statement of up to two sides of A4, setting out realistic plans for the completion or near-completion of a substantial and original piece of research during the intended period of leave;
  • letter from the Head or Senior Tutor of the CTO’s College confirming the College’s support for the application and setting out details of the arrangements proposed for the fulfilment of the above conditions.

 Applicants should also arrange for the following to be sent directly to the Trust, separately from the application:

  • two academic references;
  • letter of support from the relevant Department or Faculty

 The closing date by which  both the application and the references should be emailed to the Trust’s Senior Administrator at administrator@newtontrust.cam.ac.uk is:  Tuesday 31 January 2017

The Trust will announce its awards for 2017-18 by 07 March 2017.
