Isaac Newton Trust

These programmes are under review 2021-22

The Isaac Newton Trustees wish to explore new possibilities for working in partnership with Colleges to support the research community in Colleges, College teaching in small subjects, and career development for early career researchers based in Colleges.

The Trustees expect this to be a wide-ranging review and consultation with Colleges will take place during the academic year 2021-22 to explore options.

Currently, the Trust offers support for Junior Research Fellowships in partnership with a group of the least wealthy Colleges. This programme will continue with a round in Easter Term 2022 for advertisement in 2022-23, for JRFs to take up their posts in 2023-24.

The following programmes are now closed to new applicants, having been reviewed by the Trustees and suspended.

  • CTO Research Leave
  • Newton Trust Teaching Fellowships
