How to Apply

 The College’s application should consist of:

  • the College Teaching Officer Research Leave Application Form which invites a statement from from the Head or Senior Tutor of the CTO’s College confirming the College’s support for the application and setting out details of the arrangements proposed for the fulfilment of the above conditions with costs;
  • the CV of the CTO for whom the research leave is sought;
  • research statement of up to two sides of A4, setting out realistic plans for the completion or near-completion of a substantial and original piece of research during the intended period of leave.

Applicants should also arrange for two academic references to be sent directly to the Trust, separately from the application.

The closing date by which both the application and the references should be emailed to the Trust’s Senior Administrator at is:  Friday 2 February 2018.

The Trust will announce its awards for 2018-19 by Friday 16 March 2018.
