The INT will consider applications for a 6-month extension to a SNSF Early Career Fellowship as part of its Emergency Grant (Fellowship support) rounds held termly.  

Holders of such an Fellowship wishing to apply for an extension to their award should wait till they are within 12 months of the end of their SNSF Fellowship and then ask their host researcher to apply to the INT.  As part of the application, the host should provide a report on the progress made since the start of the fellowship as well as plans for the extension period.
